Passports let you generate a complete profile for a compound, target, disease area, or research topic without running each tool by hand. Rather than piecing results together yourself, a single request orchestrates data collection across many platform tools and returns one interactive dashboard.

## Passports & Reports

---

Passports are **multi-source aggregated reports** that compile data from multiple platform tools into a single comprehensive profile. Instead of running tools individually and piecing together results, a passport orchestrates data collection across ADMET prediction, synthesis planning, vendor sourcing, docking, literature mining, and safety databases — then presents everything in one interactive dashboard.

## The Five Passport Types

| Passport | Input | Duration | Access | Data Sources |
|----------|-------|----------|--------|-------------|
| [Compound](/docs/passports/compound) | 1–10 SMILES | 5–30s | All users | ADMET, synthesis, vendors, docking, RDKit properties |
| [Target](/docs/passports/target) | UniProt ID | 5–20s | All users | UniProt, PDB, druggability screening, BioBERT literature |
| [Safety](/docs/passports/safety) | Drug name | 5–15s | Researcher+ | FAERS, FDA labels, recalls, organ risk assessment |
| [Literature](/docs/passports/literature) | Search query | 10–30s | Researcher+ | BioBERT entities, relationships, trends, company activity |
| [Therapeutic Area](/docs/passports/therapeutic-area) | Disease name | 10–45s | Researcher+ | Target landscape, compounds, literature, safety |

## Completeness Scoring

Every passport includes a **completeness score** (0–100%) based on data coverage across all sections. Each section is weighted equally. A higher completeness score means more data sources contributed information.

## Canvas Visualization

Passport results appear on the canvas as multi-section report cards with expandable accordions.

- **Card size**: 300×250px (compact view)
- **Border color**: Brown (#795548)
- **View modes**: Compact (key metrics badge), Preview (expandable accordions), Full (interactive dashboard)

## Chat Usage

### Example Prompts

- "Generate a compound passport for aspirin"
- "Create a target passport for P04637"
- "Run a safety passport on metformin"
- "Build a literature passport for CRISPR gene editing"
- "Generate a therapeutic area report for non-small cell lung cancer"

## FAQ

### What is a passport in the platform?

A passport is a multi-source aggregated report that compiles data from multiple tools into a single comprehensive profile for a compound, target, disease area, or research topic.

### How long does a passport take to generate?

Passports typically take 5–45 seconds depending on the type and data availability. Compound passports are fastest (5–30s), while Therapeutic Area passports can take up to 45 seconds.

### Do all passports require a paid tier?

Compound and Target passports are available to all users. The Literature passport requires Grow or higher; Safety and Therapeutic Area passports require Flourish or higher.
