A Studio job starts when you submit a tool window's form. It runs on the platform's compute backend, and Studio polls it until it finishes. The **Jobs Dashboard** lists the project's jobs and lets you retry, cancel, archive, share or delete them, one at a time or in bulk.

## Submitting jobs

- **One run.** Open a tool from the **Model** menu, fill in its form and submit. The window shows the result when the job finishes.
- **A parameter sweep.** Open **Quick Actions → Parameter Sweep Batch**, pick a tool, and list the values to vary. **Cartesian** mode submits one job for every combination of values. **Parallel** mode pairs the values position by position. Results appear side by side in a comparison grid, where you can sort and filter them by metric.
- **Other batch entries.** **Quick Actions** also has **Run Multiple Tools**, **Batch Analysis** and **Duplicate Jobs**. Each opens its own window.

To plan a sweep before you run it, the **batch planner** window drafts one. Open it with **chat** on the mode toggle. It suggests parameter tables and job counts. It does not submit anything.

## Following jobs

The right sidebar's **Pipeline** tab lists up to three active jobs. A job counts as active while it is pending, queued, started, processing, reporting progress or running.

For everything else, open **Jobs & Discovery → Jobs Dashboard**. It lists the open project's jobs and offers these controls:

| Control | Effect |
|---|---|
| Search | Filters jobs by text |
| Status filter | **Queued**, **Processing**, **Success**, **Failure**, **Cancelled** or **Archived** |
| Type filter | Shows one tool's jobs |
| Start date / End date | Limits the list to a date range |
| Only active | Hides finished jobs |
| Refresh | Reloads the list |
| Table / accordion view | Switches the layout |
| Compact mode | Tightens row spacing |

## Acting on one job

Each dashboard row has an actions menu. The actions it shows depend on the job's state and your permissions:

| Action | When it appears |
|---|---|
| **View Details** | Always. Opens a **Job Details** window |
| **Download Results** | The job succeeded and has stored results |
| **Open Results** | The job succeeded |
| **Retry Job** / **Restart Job** | The job failed, or was cancelled (**Restart Job**) |
| **Cancel Job** | The job is still running |
| **Copy Job ID** | Always |
| **Share Job** | You are allowed to share it |
| **Archive Job** | The job has finished |
| **Delete Job** | You are allowed to delete it |

The **Job Details** window has three tabs: **Status & Actions**, **Technical Details** and **Results & Files**. Its header also has **Copy Job ID** and **Create Share Link**. Once a link exists, the button reads **Share**.

## Acting on many jobs

Select rows in the dashboard table, then choose **Retry**, **Cancel**, **Archive** or **Delete**. Each applies to every selected job.

## Job statuses

Jobs report one of these statuses:

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `PENDING`, `QUEUED` | Submitted and waiting to start |
| `STARTED`, `PROCESSING`, `PROGRESS`, `RUNNING` | Running |
| `COMPLETED`, `SUCCESS` | Finished successfully. `SUCCESS` is the older spelling |
| `FAILED`, `FAILURE` | Finished with an error. `FAILURE` carries error details |
| `CANCELLED` | Cancelled by a user |
| `ARCHIVED` | Archived by a user |
| `IMPORTED` | Restored from a project export |

## The drug-development checklist

The right sidebar's **Pipeline** tab ends with a seven-step checklist. It is stored with the project, and a successful job of the matching tool ticks its step:

| Step | Ticked by a successful job of |
|---|---|
| **Target Identified** | BioBERT or ChEMBL |
| **Structure Predicted** | ESMFold |
| **Docking Completed** | DiffDock |
| **ADMET Evaluated** | ADMETlab 3 or ProTox 3 |
| **Procurement Ready** | ZINC22 supplier lookup |
| **Assay Designed** | the wet-lab planner (BioBERT wet lab) |
| **Validation Complete** | the validation monitor |

You can also tick or untick a step by hand. **Reset** clears all seven. The **Next Step** card above the checklist names the first unticked step, and **Start** opens its tool.

## Exporting the project

**File → Export Project Data** opens the export profiles:

| Profile | Format | Contains |
|---|---|---|
| **Full Workspace** | ZIP | Job results, artifacts, window layout, checklist state and annotations |
| **Results Only** | ZIP | Job results and artifacts |
| **Data Export** | CSV | Job results |
| **State Snapshot** | JSON | Window layout, checklist state and annotations |
| **PDF Report** | PDF | Not implemented. The server returns an error |

You can also define a custom profile. The server records every export in the audit log.
