tool cards fill in live, and chat files get a viewer link
Tool cards appear as soon as Ivy starts a tool call and fill in live. Files a chat produces are linked in the answer and listed with the chat.

A tool card now appears the moment Ivy starts a tool call and fills in its inputs as they are written. Files a chat produces are linked in the answer with a viewer you can open, and they stay listed with the chat.
chat#
- A tool card appears as soon as Ivy starts writing a tool call and fills in its inputs live. A dropped or denied call shows as failed instead of spinning.
- Files Ivy produces in a chat are linked in the answer with a viewer link, and the Chat Files panel lists every file the chat delivered. You can open or export each one from either place.
- Protocol answers offer a downloadable PDF or DOCX, and the export offered after an answer holds the answer, its sources and its results.
- When an answer cites identifiers that can't be checked, a banner flags them and the answer text stays as written.
- When a model is unavailable under your account's data policy, Ivy continues on another model in the same family and tells you. If your organisation's model allowlist blocks a follow-up, the chat lets you pick an allowed model family to carry on.
- Out-of-credit messages name the right fix: your workspace credits, your chat budget, or your own provider account.
sharing#
- Members of a team can open the team's shared chats. Shared chat link previews show the conversation title with its message and tool-call counts.
canvas#
- Result cards show partial and not-assessed results as such. Target rankings show "—" with the reason instead of a score of 0, and show the approved gene symbol when you entered a synonym.
- Images and download buttons on result cards refresh expired links instead of failing. LaTeX documents download their .tex source and .bib bibliography alongside the compiled PDF.
- Humatch results show a per-sequence table with scores, germline likeness and any sequence that could not be scored.
jobs#
- A timed-out job shows the failed card with Retry, so you can resubmit it from the card.
tools#
- The imaging mass cytometry tools segment with Otsu as well as Cellpose, and let you pick the nuclear channel.
cli#
- The CLI can revoke trust for a device and set the same notification and newsletter switches as the web settings page. A failed or cancelled benchmark run says so instead of appearing to run forever.
changelog#
- The changelog filters by area and each past quarter has its own page. The blog and changelog RSS feeds open in feed readers.
